    Our last night in Venice at Oliva Nera

    My family and I spent 5 glorious days in Venice a few weeks ago and wanted to have a special farewell dinner on our last night. We decided on Oliva Nera after reading so many glowing reviews. We were greeted and seated by Isabella who quickly charmed us with her warmth and humor. She guided us through our menu selections, explaining how some of the dishes were prepared and which wines would compliment them. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. Our meals were so delicious and well presented and although we had eaten at several very good restaurants in Venice, none compared to the meal and experience at Oliva Nera! Thank you Isabella for making our last night in Venice so very special and memorable!! If (when!) we return to Venice, we will definitely return to Oliva Nera!

    Review

    what a wonderful restaurant. Lovely people,atmosphere and food that is out of this world. From the complimentary olives to the excellent main meal to the little gift on departure. But the absolute highlight is the dessert. Oh my word, the panna cotta is heaven on a plate and my fiance said the chocolate cake and ice cream was "a religeous experience".

    Dinner in Venice

    Thank you for a wonderful meal in your restaurant. Not only was the food excellent, but your hospitality was truly outstanding. You made us feel most welcome and Annabel rates your restaurant as the best thing about Venice - which is saying something! We hope to return and will definitely book in advance. Mille grazie.
