    Dining at Osteria Oliva Nera or "The Black Olive" to those without an Italian tongue was one of the best meals we experienced on our honeymoon throughout Europe.     Isabella and Dino made our trip to Venice a extra special memory because of their welcoming hospitality and delicious dishes. We only had four nights in Venice and we chose to spend two with them. For such a small establishment, they produced excellent food and offered a good selection of wine. Thanks again, Isabella, for trading your corkscrew with me! I use it every evening, and dream of returning to feast at your table.

    Remarkable Experience!

    What can I say...this was the most remarkable find in Venice during our visit in May. Our hosts were welcoming and we visited twice in our very short visit to Venice. Food...authentic and stellar. Hospitality was unmatched in all of Italy! Visit only if you want authentic Venetian cuisine with a dash of fun and family. Remember...once you visit you are hooked forever!

    Fantastic Restaurant that can't be missed

    Each year we travel to Italy and visit Venice. For the past three years, we make a special trip to Oliva Nera for dinner. Isabella and Dino always make our dinners special. We can't wait to visit them again! We always recommend their restaurant to anyone traveling to Venice. Grazie Mille to our friends Isabella and Dino!
